The White Box at the University of Oregon in Portland is pleased to present "Wrest_01," work by artist Heidi Schwegler exhibiting in the Gray Box. Personal struggle exists within the body and is visually elusive, the battle is completely hidden. In conventional warfare two opponents confront one another and inflict damage until one side is defeated. Personal struggle, however, is a battle in which the enemy is not external - the enemy is the self.
