Women's Bike Maintenance Class

A bike maintenance class geared towards those who identify as female, trans, femme and non-binary! This hands on, 3-session, course will teach you the basics of bike maintenance. You will learn how to assess and maintain your bike and keep it on the road.

This class strive to facilitate a learning environment that is accessible, welcoming and safe to those who may feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, or excluded from bike culture, bike shops, and bike mechanics. Taught by UO Bike Mechanic Becca Perrin.

Cost: $20/thre- session course (students and OP members*)

Date and Time: Tuesdays January 29, February 5 and 12, 5:30-7:30 pm
Location: UO Bike Program in the EMU
Gear: Bring your own bike to repair, or borrow one from us
Sign-up: Pre-register at the UO Bike Program, EMU 008, M-F 12-5 pm
 
*Community members will also need to purchase an OP Membership in order to paricipate; $25/year for OP Membership and a one-time "UO Community Card" for $10.
