The Wild Rockies Field Institute (WRFI) offers academic, expedition-oriented field courses
for undergraduate students interested in exploring landscapes and communities across the
Rocky Mountain West. WRFI courses are accredited through the University of Montana,
allowing students from colleges and universities across the country to earn upper division
(300-level) credits in Environmental Studies, Geography, Natural Resource Science &
Management, Native American Studies, Philosophy, and Studio Art all while immersed in
