Virtual EventPlant and Flower Illustration with Kris Kirkeby
***Workshop is now full.*** Register now for a realtime drawing workshop with scientific illustrator Kris Kirkeby. Gather a branch tip with several leaves and join us online as we explore the shapes of plants, learn drawing and a simple shading technique, and create illustrations based on photographs and actual specimens.
$20 for MNCH members and $25 for the public. Space is limited and preregistration is required. Workshop material kits will be provided prior to the event and can be picked up from the museum Wednesday through Sunday from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m.
The workshop will be hosted on Zoom and participants will receive a link after they register. Kits can be shipped for an additional $5.00; payment and registration must be received by September 15 to mail materials.
