A program from iconoclastic pianist Lara Downes, exploring the intersections and crossroads in American music. The concert includes works from Kurt Weill, Sam Cooke, Meredith Monk, Reena Esmail, George Gershwin, and the world premiere of Paola Prestini’s Let Me See the Sun.

This event is sponsored by National Endowment for the Arts2 Towns Ciderhouse, and All Classical Portland.

In accordance with state mandates, as of 6/14/22, OBF performance spaces do not require face masks, proof of vaccination, or negative COVID test for entry. However, given the rise in Lane County COVID cases, the University of Oregon recommends individuals wear masks indoors when around other people.
