UO Online Explores: Teaching with Authenticity
Friday, February 3, 2023 1:30pm to 3pm

About this Event
What role does authenticity play in your course? Troy Elias, the University of Oregon Vice Provost for Diversity and Inclusion, will lead a critical conversation with faculty leaders about the pedagogical value of authenticity. The panel will explore authenticity’s meaning and consider its capacity to spark student engagement, support inclusive course design, and infuse our online classes with the heartbeat of personal presence. Our panelists hail from a variety of disciplines and modalities, and attendees can expect to engage in an expansive and thoughtful exchange of ideas. Please join us as we explore the transformative potential of teaching with authenticity.
