UO Medical Conference (MedCon)

On April 10th, 2021, a collective of pre-health organizations will be hosting a Pre-medical conference from 9:30-3:00 pm PST virtually on Zoom. As an event hosted by pre-medical students and clubs, the primary objective of this conference is to promote diversity within the healthcare profession. This event hopes to provide students with the opportunity to gain more knowledge into the medical school process so that they can be successful throughout their medical career. UO MedCon will host a diverse group of guest speakers within the medical profession. The conference will provide a great opportunity for students to engage with medical school admission officers, medical school students, physicians, other health professions programs, and research done by UO professors that focus on issues such as the social determinants of health. UOMedCon hopes to provide support for the foundation of future generations of excellent and diverse physicians.
