The UOIG is a student-run investment fund that manages over $1.3 million of real money in the stock market and allows students to practice career-ready skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, and public speaking. The group is looking for students with intellectual curiosity who want to learn how to value companies through analyzing financial statements, creating valuation models, and conducting industry and macroeconomic analysis. These tangible skills apply to virtually any career in business, from finance to accounting to entrepreneurship. No previous experience or classwork in business or finance is necessary, just an appetite to learn.
