UO Symphony Orchestra presents “Fate and Freedom”
About this Event
961 East 18th Avenue, Eugene, OR 97403
From the glittering wit of Poulenc’s Les Biches to the emotional urgency of Violetta’s great moments from Verdi’s La Traviata, this program explores the tension between desire and destiny. Janice Irungu gives voice to a heroine caught between love and independence, where every choice carries consequence. The journey culminates in the unstoppable force of Beethoven Symphony No. 5, where fate itself is transformed into triumph.
