The UO's Pacific Rim Gamelan (Robert Kyr, Director) will give its Spring Concert 2026, "Celebrating Music in Challenging Times," on Monday, June 8 in the Dougherty Dance Theater in Gerlinger Annex, Room 354. All are welome to join us for this musical celebration of the power of music to enlighten and enliven us, even during challenging times! This free Balinese Gamelan concert will feature premieres of music by members of the ensemble: Andy Josten, Nathan Poehlke, Daniel Au, Victor Lawton, Alexandre (Dree) Smith, Dominic Farinola, Zander Furrow, Gordon Shaw, Lance Brown, Sam Fischer, Maya Sherman, Ferris Haukom, Micah Primack.
