 drès\, Minkus\, Debussy\, and Woods.\n\nStudents (and instructor Mary DeM
 ocker) will also collaborate with Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Ed
 ucation Dr. Kyakuwa. A Ugandan Mutooro\, Dr. Kyakuwa will lead an interact
 ive performance of the traditional Rutooro folk song Twaara Amata Gaawe (
 “Have Your Milk”). Featuring five pedal harps\, voice\, percussion\, a
 nd the Adungu—an arched harp native to Uganda and found in Sub-Saharan A
 frica—this piece highlights the instrument’s role in storytelling and 
 spiritual expression.\n\nBoth the Adungu and pedal harp symbolize unity\, 
 peace\, and communal values. The song reflects the Batooro people's rich c
 ultural heritage\, emphasizing hospitality\, responsibility\, respect\, an
 d identity.
