Virtual EventFall applications for the University of Oregon Investment Group (UOIG) open on Tuesday, September 27. UOIG is dedicated to enhancing its members’ education through in-depth equity research, valuation, portfolio management, and market analysis.
The group looks for applicants that posses advanced analytical abilities and are able to perform aptly in a team environment. Such a candidate will respond well to criticism, present ideas thoughtfully, enjoy learning, and mentor peers. The UOIG is a significant time commitment, and some members report spending more than 20 hours per week on work for the group. It is important that candidates consider their availability before applying.
Candidates will submit an online application via the UOIG website. This application includes a resume, cover letter, and essay sections. The application must be submitted by the deadline of Wednesday, October 12.
