Join long-time Trees Across Oregon (LA 337) Instructor Whitey Lueck for an informative day in Oregon's beautiful Cascade Mountains. During the first half of the day, you'll be introduced to five of Oregon's eight forest zones. After a midday picnic in the Ponderosa Pine Zone near Camp Sherman, we'll head back to Eugene, with stops to observe sustainable forest practices on both public (national forest) and private forest land. A one-hour pre-trip meeting is required.
