Please join the School of Journalism and Communication's Media Center for Science and Technology for the AAAS Kavli Science Journalism Award Lecture with Paula Apsell, who spent a year as a Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT before becoming a senior executive producer for NOVA. Apsell’s talk, “The Art of Science Television,” will take place on November 10 at 6 p.m. in the EMU Redwood Auditorium.
The AAAS Kavli Science Journalism Award Lecture series brings winners of the distinguished award to campuses for public lectures and workshops with journalism students. Apsell won the television award in 1986 for "The Case of the Frozen Arctic," in 1990 for “Hurricane!” and in 1992 for "Eclipse of the Century."
