View mapUO Libraries' Special Collections and University Archives (SCUA) is pleased to host Joe Whittle (Caddo) for a special lecture and Q&A event. Whittle is a photographer and creator of LANDBACK: RETURNING PUBLIC LANDS TO NATIVE AMERICANS, a four-part photojournalism project documenting the LandBack Movement that explores compelling reasons why federal lands should be returned to Native Americans.
Special Collections & University Archives is currently exhibiting several of Whittle’s photographs in an exhibition curated by student Marisol Peters, The Land We Have Always Known.
