Join The Duck Store Board of Directors.

Support students and build your resume as a board member! As your nonprofit college store, The Duck Store Board of Directors is composed of University of Oregon students, faculty, and staff. That board helps set strategic direction and provides oversight for The Duck Store’s professional staff in order to serve our mission to serve the academic supply needs of the campus community and champion the potential of every student.

Some of the benefits of joining the Board of Directors include: 

• earning a $100 monthly stipend for attending a board meeting or committee meeting that month 
• building a practical understanding of how a complex non-profit functions, from an administrative and governance level all the way to a functional and operational one 
• cultivating leadership and professional skills in a collaborative and hands-on working environment 
• free cap and gown when you graduate

Current open positions:

• One (1) freshman position for a two (2) year term
• Two (2) sophomore positions each for a two (2) year term
• One (1) graduate position for a one (1) year term
• One (1) graduate position for a two (2) year term
• One (1) faculty position for a (2) year term

Any Duck Store Member may nominate an eligible candidate at the annual meeting. Nomination may be made by a petition signed by 25 members of the corporation and filed at elections@uoduckstore.com before 6:00 pm, Tuesday, April 15.
