StoryArc Cinematic Journalism Workshop

STORYTELLING WITH A DIFFERENCE

Our workshop offers a “beyond bootcamp,” team-based experience that places an emphasis on collaboration, creativity and storytelling. We are sponsored by the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication and the Agora Journalism Center. Canon provides C100 and C300 cameras for the workshop along with additional equipment. Our fourth annual workshop will take place August 17-21, 2016 at the George S. Turnbull Portland Center. 

Featured coaches at this year’s workshop are:

Workshop creators Sung Park and Wes Pope are Co-Directors of the SOJC Multimedia Journalism master's program. They have coached at: the NPPA Multimedia Immersion Workshop, The Mountain Workshops, the Syracuse Fall Workshop and The Eddie Adams Workshop.

A public screening of the stories will be presented on Wednesday, August 24 from 6-7pm at the UO-Portland.
