College students today are juggling a dizzying array of challenges from coursework, relationships, and adjustment to campus life, to economic strain, social injustice, mass violence, and various forms of loss related to COVID-19.
For our class collaborative project in ARTR 346, Relief in Printmaking, each one of us sincerely listened to our friend's, families' and peers' mental health struggles. These are a collection of real stories. All the images are created by responding to each one; every line was physically carved onto a woodblock carefully and mindfully.
Please read the corresponding stories on our website. The entire series of prints are exhibited in the case by 177 Lawrence.
Remember, whatever challenge you are facing, you are not alone.
