Join Steve Prince and Leah Glenn for a special performance and lecture to mark the opening of Steve Prince: Kitchen Table Talk, on view in the JSMA's Focus West Gallery.

Steve Prince is a New Orleans-born mixed media artist with a practice defined by a deep commitment to art's ability to engage, build, and connect with communities, while also incorporating themes of social justice, reconciliation, and healing.  Leah Glenn is an accomplished dancer, founder of the Leah Glenn Dance Theatre, and has used the medium of dance to enter dialogue with social justice issues. At this event, Prince will discuss his artistic practice, as well his drawings and prints on view, and this will then be followed by a choreographed performance by Glenn incorporating the fabricated kitchen table that is installed in the exhibition.
