This two-week Sports Business Global Study Tour is designed for undergraduate business majors. The program exposes you to international sports businesses and highlights business strategies and priorities for U.S.-based sports businesses operating in international markets. As a student interested in a career in sports business, the program is an excellent way for you to experience the possibilities of international markets in a firsthand and intensive immersion. You will engage in a comparative exploration of sports business industries and markets in Amsterdam, Nuremberg, Munich, and Berlin. The program sites include cities in Germany and the Netherlands. It is important to understand how the business of sport operates globally, as it is highly likely that graduates will be employed in truly global sports business enterprises. In addition to the corporate visits, experiencing sporting events as spectators will enhance your cultural understanding of the role that sport plays in countries around the world. You will gain perspective on your own native sport culture in comparison to others around the world, which will help you become a more informed and insightful sports business professional.
