 uditions here\n\nBFA candidates will participate in the morning placement 
 class\, present a 3-5 minute solo\, and have a brief interview with the Da
 nce faculty.\n\nGuidelines for Solo \n\nPerform a 3-5 minute solo from any
  idiom or style that you feel presents you in your very best light. The mo
 vement may be choreographed (by you or another) or improvised. A separate 
 studio will be available to prepare for solo performances. We will provide
  aux cable and adapters to play your music from your phone or other device
  during the audition.\n\nBe prepared to change easily between:\n\nsoft sli
 ppers or thin cotton socks for ballet (no point shoes)\;bare feet for cont
 emporary and African\;and clean sneakers for hip hop.Please be prepared to
  answer the following questions in the interview with faculty:\n\nWhat wou
 ld you like to tell us about your movement background?Why are you interest
 ed in earning a BFA in Dance at the University of Oregon?How do you see yo
 urself working and collaborating with the community in our dance program a
 s well as the greater community at the University of Oregon?
