Volunteering at the museum is a great way for lifelong learners to make new friends and share their passion for history, science, and more. From leading exhibit tours to helping with children's events, the museum offers a variety of ways to get involved, and 2019-20 offers the opportunity to be part of a very special new exhibit, Racing to Change: Oregon's Civil Rights Years-The Eugene Story, co-developed by the museum and Oregon Black Pioneers.
Volunteer applications will be accepted through September 30. All new volunteers are required to complete a training program held Mondays and Wednesdays, October 7 through 30, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m.
