DESCRIPTION:The SAA is excited to host our Lunch with a Bunch event featuri
 ng Lorie Acio\, the 2025 Distinguished Young Alumni Award recipient. Lunch
  with a Bunch is a networking program designed by the Student Alumni Assoc
 iation to bring motivated students and successful alumni together. Develop
  connections\, confidence\, and ideas about future opportunities with Acio
  and fellow SAA members. Our first Lunch with a Bunch event has ten spots 
 available for SAA members. \n\nWho is Lorie Acio? \n\nLorie Acio is our 20
 25 Distinguished Young Alumni Award recipient! Acio graduated from the Uni
 versity of Oregon and Clark Honors College with an electronic media degree
  from the School of Journalism and Communication. She worked with both wri
 tten and on-air journalism on campus\, building her skills behind and in f
 ront of the camera. As a junior\, Acio interned at the KATU ABC 2 channel 
 in Portland\, an experience that opened her eyes to the opportunities and 
 excitement of professional news. A CBS News recruiter came to the UO campu
 s during Acio’s senior year\, and one of her professors recommended they
  meet. After ten years at MSNBC as the Vice President of Communications\, 
 Lorie recently founded her own company\, Acio Communications\, which provi
 des thought leadership and media strategy counsel for globally recognized 
 brands\, executives\, and philanthropic organizations. \n\nRegistration\n\
 nTo register\, students must be an SAA member. Starting the summer of 2025
 \, SAA membership is now free for all current UO students! To learn more\,
  visit the Student Alumni Association website. New SAA members can pick up
  their member packet at the Ford Alumni Center\, during standard business
