Lecture by Dr. Margareta Matache, Roma activist and scholar from Romania. Since 2012 she has been a Hauser Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard University. From 2005 to 2012 she was the Executive Director of Romani CRISS, a leading Romanian human rights organization. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Bucharest. Her publications analyze the rights and agency of Roma, anti-Roma racism, reparations, segregation in education, and participatory action research.
