More often than not, information about healthy relationships is centered around straight people; it can be challenging to find resources and information that make sense for LGBTQIA+ relationships. During this period of social distancing, many of us are separated from partners and queer family, and some of us are in physical environments that may not be affirming—or safe. These pressures make our connections with each other more important than ever, whether they’re happening in-person or digitally.
Join Drew and Ritu, queer mental health professionals and confidential advocates at UO, as they unpack the concept of a “healthy relationship” and explore how to develop relationships that work for queer people.
This event is a part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) in April. For other SAAM events, please lookout for the Teal SAAM 2021 banner on UO events and visit saam.uoregon.edu.
