Public Interest Environmental Law Conference (PIELC)
Sunday, March 5, 2023 8am to 2pm
About this Event
We are thrilled to welcome back the 41st annual Public Interest Environmental Law Conference (PIELC) to in-person programming in Eugene, Oregon. This year’s PIELC will take place from Thursday, March 2, 2023, to Sunday, March 5, 2023. PIELC will consist of panel and speaker programming, familiar to past attendees, with opportunities to socialize and collaborate after three years apart.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Reconnecting and Transitioning Together.” While we’re working on reconnecting to each other, we’re also working on transitioning our habits and systems for a more sustainable future. The world must connect new people, ideas, and resources as we shift the dial on so many facets of environmental law and sustainability. Through this theme, we hope to emphasize connection to one another and transition to a more sustainable world. Now, more than ever, we need to join hands and work together in solidarity to build a world we can all live in.
