Public Presentation: "Towards a New Chapter in U.S.-ROK Relations and the Korean Wave" Presented by Ms. Eunji Seo, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Seattle

We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Eunji Seo, the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Seattle, to the University of Oregon on November 14, 2024. The Consul General will present a lecture entitled, “Towards the New Chapter of US-ROK Relations and Korean Wave,” highlighting the long history of the Korean-US partnership as well as the rise of the global K-culture phenomenon. The UO faculty and internationally renowned clarinetist Wonkak Kim will curate and perform a mini concert with guest artists, featuring music that blend traditions of the US and Korea. The lecture-performance will be followed by a delicious reception prepared by Tiger Mama of Eugene, featuring popular Korean dishes. This event is open to the public, and we hope to see you there!
