Preparing for the 118th Congress: Setting Federal Research Funding Priorities and Advocacy
Thursday, December 1, 2022 12pm to 1pm

About this Event
All faculty engaged in research are invited to attend the “Preparing for the 118th Congress: Setting Federal Research Funding Priorities and Advocacy” presentation. This opportunity to ask questions and for discussion is co-sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation (OVPRI) and Government and Community Relations (GCR).
The intent is to raise awareness about the institution’s advocacy for federal research funding and to develop an inclusive process that enables OVPRI and GCR to gather continuing and emerging faculty priorities. This is also a chance to identify strategic opportunities to secure resources for research at the UO that align with new federal funding opportunities and on-going programmatic appropriations.
Please register by Tuesday, November 29.
