DESCRIPTION:Aaron Baker is the author of two award-winning collections of p
 oems: Posthumous Noon (Gunpowder Press\, 2018)\, which was selected by Jan
 e Hirshfield as winner of the Barry Spacks Poetry Prize\; and Mission Work
  (Houghton Mifflin\, 2008)\, which won the Katherine Bakeless Prize in Poe
 try and the Shenandoah/Glasgow Prize for Emerging Writers. His poems have 
 appeared in Poetry\, Missouri Review\, New England Review\, Poetry Northwe
 st\, and elsewhere. Recipient of many awards\, including the Wallace Stegn
 er Fellowship in Poetry from Stanford University and fellowships from the 
 Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference and the Sewanee Writers’ Conference\, h
 e is currently an associate professor in the creative writing program at L
 oyola University Chicago.
