Here at UO, we have a minor that will help launch your international career! The Global Service minor and the Peace Corps Prep program both guide you in adding a global, intercultural, service dimension to any major, while encouraging you to reflect on your place in the wider world and your own responsibilities as a global citizen.
Peace Corps Prep is a certificate program for undergraduates that centers on one empowering question: How can you prepare yourself to be the best Peace Corps Volunteer you can be? It is a certificate awarded by the U.S. Peace Corps, and does not appear on your UO transcript.
The Global Service minor is open to all students regardless of their career plans, and it adds a valuable global service dimension to any career pathway. It helps students acquire the intercultural knowledge and competencies that are essential for success in the communities and the workplaces of today. The Global Service minor is a UO degree that, upon completion, will appear on your University of Oregon transcript.
