Oregon Wind Ensemble “Basically British” | Live-streamed

Rodney Dorsey, conductor. Tickets are available at the door or in advance from the UO Ticket Office, 541-346-4363. Enjoy works from “across the pond” with a program featuring a wide range of wind works written by British composers. Gustav Holst’s “Hammersmith” is a wind band masterwork. Mark-Anthony Turnage (“No Let Up”) is a recent composer in residence with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Additional repertoire will include Adam Gorb’s “Awayday,” Gordon Jacob’s “William Byrd Suite,” and Peter Graham’s “Harrison’s Dream.”
