About this Event
1190 Franklin Boulevard, Eugene, OR
Parametric modeling extends folding experiments by articulating geometric relationships, allowing an infinite number of design variations. As a demonstration of this, installations created for the Oregon BEST Fest, a conference for clean technology innovations, have been installed in Lawrence Hall. The forms frame space and catch the light. They are part of a larger investigation to see how folded surfaces can modulate light, heat and wind for architectural applications.
