This orientation session is for any student interested in applying for a role with the Oregon Accelerator.
This one-hour session will cover the fundamentals of NCAA compliance and name, image and likeness (NIL) laws in the state of Oregon. It will outline what student-athletes may and may not do regarding compensation for their NIL while representing the University of Oregon. It will also explain what the university can and cannot do with regards to assisting student-athletes with NIL endeavors.
All students must complete a mandatory compliance education module before they are eligible to do any work for the Oregon Accelerator. Completion of this module will also be required before you can receive your work stipend.
If students are unable to attend in person, we will be recording the session and there will be an online completion option.
The Oregon Accelerator program is a joint effort between the Lundquist College of Business, the School of Journalism and Communications, and Oregon Athletics.
