Omeka is a publishing platform used commonly among academics, museum professionals, and libraries. Omeka allows us to conceptualize and build multimedia exhibits without having to learn coding languages. This workshop is ideal for those who have already attended our Omeka for beginner class (offered in previous academic years) and want a brief overview of how to set up a project on Omeka, followed by instructions for building a digital exhibit in Omeka. This workshop will give you a chance to begin building a digital exhibit. Please be sure to bring 2-3 multimedia objects (images, videos, podcasts, maps, etc.). If you've already set up a project at Omeka.net please be sure to bring your login information.
**Please bring a personal laptop, power cord, and a few digital objects to upload to your Omeka exhibit like pictures or videos.
