No-Ivy Day: Removing Invasive Species and Building Holiday Decorations with Eugene Outdoors

Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 9:30am to 1:30pm

Alton Baker Park, Meet at Allan Price Science Commons and Research Library

On Saturday, December 1st, we will be joining Eugene Outdoors and other members in the community to remove invasive species in the Whilamut Natural Area of Alton Baker Park. The best part is, we will use the invasive species we remove to make HOLIDAY DECORATIONS!

We will meet outside the Allan Price Science Commons and Research Library at 9:15am. From there we will walk over to Nearby Nature in Alton Baker Park and remove invasive species until around 12/12:15pm, giving us time to make our decorations before heading back to campus by 1:30pm.

Eugene Outdoors supports the residents and visitors of the area in their love of the outdoors, more specifically the over 4,000 acres of parks and open space, by building connections, support for park land, and stronger neighborhoods through layered and enriching volunteer experiences.
