About this Event
1395 University Street, Eugene, OR 97403
http://orientation.uoregon.edu/mid-year-introducktionWe offer Mid-Year IntroDUCKtion sessions for students whose first term will be winter, spring, or summer. Additionally, we offer a session during the spring for transfer students entering in the fall. Freshman students admitted for the fall term must attend one of the summer IntroDUCKtion sessions. This session is for Winter Admits.
Schedule
During Mid-Year IntroDUCKtion, you'll learn about academic requirements at the UO and be introduced to the student resources that are available to you. You'll have an appointment to meet with an academic advisor to plan your class schedule. You may not register for classes unless you attend an advising appointment. Advising appointments are scheduled until 4:00 p.m. and may not be changed.
Placement Testing
If the credits you are transferring do not reflect your skill in math or a second language, you may need to take a placement test. Talk to your academic advisor about this during your advising appointment.
