Michael Schreffler is associate dean for the arts in the College of Arts and Letters at the University of Notre Dame. His research centers on the art and architecture of Spanish America in the early modern period. He is the author of Cuzco: Incas, Spaniards, and the Making of a Colonial City, published by Yale University Press in 2020.
