 Unthank Jr.\, FAIA.\n\nMcKenzie Hall was designed in 1968 by Unthank\, the
  first African American graduate from the UO School of Architecture. He wa
 s a prolific and successful architect for over 40 years\, and a prominent 
 figure in Eugene’s architectural scene. McKenzie Hall\, originally home 
 of the law school\, is a notable example of the Brutalist style within the
  context of the Pacific Northwest\, Eugene\, and the University of Oregon
