Ziggy Stardust fell to Earth once upon a time. It is the mission of Major Tomboys to pay tribute to his god-given ass.

Known for their electrifying live shows, Portland’s all-femme David Bowie tribute band, Major Tomboys, brings a bold and fresh twist to Bowie’s iconic catalog. From the glam rock anthems of Moonage Daydream to the futuristic sounds of Ashes to Ashes and Heroes, Major Tomboys delivers every song with precision and passion, while incorporating elements of Bowie’s theatricality, androgyny, and boundary-pushing aesthetics. With a dynamic stage presence, intricate arrangements, and a deep love for Bowie’s groundbreaking sound, Major Tomboys are quickly gaining recognition as one of the most exciting tribute acts out of Portland.

Major Tomboys is: Renée Muzquiz (lead vocals/guitar), Ruba Tuesday (guitar/vocals), Dani Tanzella (sax/flute/vocals), Rachel Brashear (keys/vocals), Christine McAllister (bass/vocals) and Jolie Clausen (drums).
