John E. Jaqua Academic Center for Student Athletes, 101 (Harrington Auditorium)
1615 East 13th Avenue, Eugene, OR 97403

Oregon Public Broadcasting and the UO Museum of Natural and Cultural History (MNCH) invite the community to a free screening of OPB's new Oregon Experience featuring the life of former MNCH director Luther Cressman.

In the 1930s, University of Oregon archaeologist Luther Cressman uncovered ice age sandals in a rural Oregon cave. At 10,000 years old, they are the oldest footwear ever discovered. The find was controversial, and it forever changed theories about how and when people first arrived in the Americas. Luther Cressman: Quest for First People examines Cressman's life, and his lifelong search for the first Americans.
