Oregon Bach Festival presents Let’s Talk! Akoka and Quartet for the End of Time
Before attending the concert on June 29, sit down with cellist Matt Haimovitz and clarinetist David Krakauer for an in-depth look at Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time. The two will also examine the life of Jewish POW clarinetist Henri Akoka, and his influence on Messiaen’s work. This event is free and open to the public.
This event is sponsored by Cascade Manor.
In accordance with state mandates, as of 6/14/22, OBF performance spaces do not require face masks, proof of vaccination, or negative COVID test for entry. However, given the rise in Lane County COVID cases, the University of Oregon recommends individuals wear masks indoors when around other people. These policies are subject to change as the Festival progresses.
