In efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19, the state of Oregon is mandating cancellation of events and gatherings of more than 250 people for four weeks (through April 8, 2020). Effective Sunday, March 15, 2020, the UO is canceling nonessential events and gatherings of more than 50 until further notice. If you have questions about your specific event or refunds, please contact your event organizer.

Organizers may request a waiver for events of 50 to 249. Events on campus with fewer than 50 participants can continue as planned.

Lecture: Professor Michael Gerhardt: “The Trump Impeachment: What Happened and What We Learned”

Professor Michael Gerhardt is one of four scholars invited to testify before the House Judiciary Committee hearing on the impeachment of President Trump. He was also the only joint witness to testify during the Clinton impeachment proceedings in the House of Representatives. Gerhardt, a professor at University of North Carolina, has written extensively about impeachment, constitutional authority, and the separation of powers.
