Lachi uses her platforms in music, storytelling and fashion to amplify identity pride. Her musical works have debuted on national Dance charts, amassing millions of streams, and placements on TV, radio and film. Born legally blind, Lachi advocates for Disability Culture and accessible spaces in the music industry and is widely known for partnering with the Recording Academy (through her organization RAMPD) to bring accessibility to the GRAMMYs.
A leader in disability inclusion, Lachi is Founder of RAMPD—the U.N. recognized premiere professional platform and go-to voice concerning disability and neurodivergent representation in the music and events industries—finding national recognition in Billboard, NYTimes, Hollywood Reporter and more for bringing opportunity and community to its members while providing inclusive tools, programming and practices to its corporate partners.
She will be performing and discussing intersections of ability, race, and gender. The performance will be 40 minutes, followed by 20 minutes of Q/A. Light refreshments will be served.
