The Wayne Morse Center, the Labor Education and Research Center, and the UO History Department present a lecture from Matt Garcia, Dartmouth Professor of Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Studies and History. Professor Garcia will present on the continuing challenges to farmworker organizing, and to explore models of “social responsibility” and labor rights in the fast food industry over the last fifty years.
