The UO Small Jazz Ensembles will be performing at the Jazz Station on Friday, November 3. At 5 pm, four small jazz groups will be joined by the Latin Jazz Ensemble for the free “early bird” show. Then, from 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm, two more small jazz groups will perform with special guest artist and UO alum, guitarist Jack Radsliff.

Jack Radsliff is one of the most in demand guitarists in the Portland area, working regularly with his own trio, featuring Michael Raynor and Patrick Golichnik, and as a member of the Cyrus Nabipoor Quintet, Kathleen Hollingsworth's MadLove, the Michael Raynor Quartet, the Clara Baker Band, Ian George + the Well and the Chuck Israels Trio. Jack also frequently plays in bands led by Alan Jones, Ron Steen, Christopher Brown, Kerry Politzer, Galen Clark and a who's who of Oregon's jazz musicians. Recently, Jack has had the opportunity to perform in Portland with Jonathan Pinson, Greg Ward, Andrew Renfroe and Yoav Eshed as well as on the road with Cyrus Nabipoor and Indie Folk Rocker Ian George, with more dates to come in the fall and early next year.

To date, Jack's playing can be heard on more than a dozen records from bandleaders including Tony Glausi and Martina DaSilva in addition to his own record “Migration Patterns” (available on all streaming platforms). The first single from Jack's forthcoming record "Barefoot," which features Randy Porter, Todd Sickafoose and Alan Jones, is set for release in December 2023. The Jack Radsliff trio will be touring the music from this record throughout the Pacific Northwest. Follow Jack on instagram (@JackRadsliff) or head over to to see when and where he’s playing next.
