Investigate a Great Forensic Science Career with OSP Forensics!

Tuesday, February 13 at 5:00pm to 6:30pm

Willie and Donald Tykeson Hall, 32
1030 E 13th Avenue, Eugene, OR 97403

Connect with Oregon State Police (OSP) Forensic Services Director, Brian Medlock, as he dispels some commonly held myths about life as a forensic scientist and what you can do now to best position yourself for success in the hiring process and beyond.

You will learn about numerous career paths in the field including crime scene analysis, DNA, trace, drug chemistry and how those disciplines assist the justice system in solving crime, identifying suspects and excluding the innocent.

Topics will also cover the excellent benefits of government service, typical career progression within OSP and maybe even a couple cool stories.

Q&A session will follow the presentation, so come and learn about the good, the bad and the ugly aspects of a career in forensic science.

Check out the OSP Forensic Science Internship posted on Handshake and bring questions if interested in applying/learning more about it (full-time job posted, too):
