FORENSIC SCIENCE in your future?
Meet OSP Forensic Services Director on campus while he shares and dispels some commonly held myths about life as a forensic scientist and what you can do now to best position yourself for success in the hiring process and beyond.
You will learn about numerous career paths in the field including crime scene analysis, DNA, trace, drug chemistry and how those disciplines assist the justice system in solving crime, identifying suspects and excluding the innocent.
Topics will also cover the excellent benefits of government service, typical career progression within OSP and maybe even a couple cool stories. Q&A session will follow the presentation, so come and learn about the good, the bad and the ugly aspects of a career in forensic science.
Drop-In Office Hours WED 2/1--1:30pm-3:30pm: connect with director Brian Medlock and bring questions about forensic science careers following the information session. Location: Career Center, Tykeson Hall, room 50 (ground level).
