To celebrate International Tuba Day, please come enjoy a free concert. You'll hear solos for tuba and euphonium, as well as the UO Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble. It promises to be a tubariffic event!

BACK STORY: Joel Day founded International Tuba Day in 1979 while attending Lower Merion High School in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was one of only two tuba players in the band and found that his classmates lacked respect for them. In response, he set a day of recognition aside for tuba players as reputable musicians.
