View map Free EventThe exhibit includes early family photographs of Le Guin, and documents reflecting her life as a student and Fulbright scholar in France in the early 1950s. Some of the most exciting documents, however, are the original handwritten early versions of many of her beloved works, including A Wizard of Earthsea, The Left Hand of Darkness, The Dispossessed, The Word for World is Forest, and many others. Also on display are several of Le Guin’s literary awards including two Nebulas and three Hugo awards.
