Do you have a business idea and want to learn how to advance it? Join us for this free, 5-week workshop series sponsored by the Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship, RAIN at UO (Regional Accelerator and Innovation Network) and Fertilab, Eugene/Springfield's early-stage idea incubator. Supported by the UO Entrepreneurship Club.
These 90-min. sessions are divided into two parts, first, an open to the public talk , followed by a workshop for selected participants to work through the material that is covered in each session with community entrepreneurs/mentors.
In order to participate in the workshop portion, participants must be ready with an Executive Summary, http://www.garage.com/resources/writing-a-compelling-executive-summary/ which will be used in the workshop sessions.
Those looking to participate in the workshop sessions should email an executive summary to Joe Maruschak - firstname.lastname@example.org.
The workshops will take place on the following Thursdays from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the downtown UO/RAIN building (942 Olive Street):
These workshops are FREE and open to the public.
At the conclusion of the workshop series, undergraduate students may be interested in entering QuackHatch: The Business Idea Competition for a chance to win cash to advance your business (undergraduates, from any major, are eligible to apply regardless if they attend these workshops).
